So I know nobody likes a mislabel, right? Well -meet my daughter Madison. It all started when I wanted to throw away a mystery mislabel and she yelled “NO!- I’ll grow it!”. Which started Madison’s mystery corner (her own little corner raised bed). This is her little corner of the garden- where she’s learned to disbud, strip lower leaves, and disinfect snips in between cutting plants, and even to pull what looks suspicious. She showed a few mystery garden grown dahlias that we could identify once they bloomed, and won a few first places in our local dahlia show. Our promise to her is if she cares for the plants, she gets the profits. Savings, giving, and fun money (mainly for her dirtbike racing next year) is what she has planned. Maybe you like a little mystery too?
